We’ve got trimmers and saws; we need help clearing the debris! Let’s get together to follow the trimmers and toss/rake the debris off the trail as they go. Bring work gloves, heavy duty rakes (if you have one, or even a lighter duty rake may work), and don’t forget close-toed shoes, long pants, and water. If you don’t have a rake, come join us as we have a few spares. Sunscreen and/or bug spray might be nice to have as well. This is a great way to meet other bikers as well as preview the trail. Bring a friend, bring your kids (but keep them away from the saws and trimmers)! Let’s attack this trail and reclaim it so we can ride with a clean line of sight! 👍
We will park at the bottom of the trail, which is 3-1/2 miles up from the bridge over Little Susitna River, on the left side of the road. The wide trail is for hiking; to access the 16-mile downhill trail, walk near the roadway (behind the guardrail) and cross the creek, then hang a left and you will see the singletrack. We will continue up to where we left off last week.
