Trail work on 16-mile

Let’s reclaim 16-mile DH from Mother Nature! It’s time to cut back brush and clear the trail, and we need help!
We will meet and begin at the parking located at the bottom of 16-mile (3-1/2 miles up the road after you cross the Little Susitna bridge) and we will work our way up the trail from there.
There will be some chainsaws cutting the bigger stuff so we need people who can pull the cut debris off the trail, as well as prune back/clip the smaller stuff.
We have some tools but feel free to bring your own. This evening it is best to wear long pants, steel-toed boots (or sturdy footwear), work gloves, long sleeved shirts, hats, head nets/bug spray…
Come help us and let’s see how much we can get done in one evening! 💪
