DESCRIPTION:Despite the recent heatwave(s)\, the plan is to keep the snow jam going until winter is officially over! Please join us\, rain\, snow\, or shine\, for a social fatbike ride.  \nWe’re doubling down this week and going for a social ride for beer and snacks out at Finn’s in Hillside.  \nFor the upcoming Wednesday ride\, we’re starting at Abbott Loop Community park and riding out to Finn’s restaurant at Hillside to get some fries and drinks 🍻 .. or whatever your preference is. \nDate/time: Wednesday\, January 22nd\, 6:15PM (+/- 10 minutes). We would like to be rolling no later than 6:25\, but want to give everyone plenty of buffer time for those getting off late from work. DESCRIPTION:Come brighten up this January with great company on the trails! \nThe Hot Chocolate Ride is a women’s group ride for all ability levels\, sponsored by the Trek Store. Come out and make new friends to ride with! We will ride for about an hour and a half. Come prepared to ride singletrack trails. If you have any gear questions\, please contact Sofia Petroni or Pam Weiss directly.  \nAfter the ride\, plan to stay for some conversation\, Trek Store coupons\, and hot chocolate courtesy of Summit Spice and Tea. DESCRIPTION:We have rescheduled the ride due to extremely low snow and lots of ice. So do your best snow dance! \n \nHappy 1st Birthday to the Coed Cheese and Crackers Ride! It is hard to believe that this adorable ride is already a year old. We started with nine brave souls (pictured above) including your frozen leaders Becky and Dave and the cheese eating was brief due to the subzero temperatures. But we have upped our game and now have a cozy fire pit for your après le vélo (see how fancy we have become to be using French). Come dressed for a birthday celebration if you like.\n\nThe Coed Cheese and Crackers group ride is for all ability levels\, and is a low-stress\, high-fun event. We will ride for about an hour and a half on the winter trails around Campbell Creek. After the ride\, plan to stay for some socializing and our soon to be famous cheese and crackers+ affair. \n\nWhere: Abbott Loop Community Park\nWhen: THURSDAY\, January 30 at 6:30 pm\nPlease arrive by 6:15 pm to sign waivers. We will split up into groups and begin riding by 6:30-ish. \nWhat to bring: CHARGED LIGHTS\, a helmet\, a fat tire bike\, and dress for the weather. The trails have been icy\, so consider having some non-slip option for footwear.\n\nDOGS: While we love dogs\, we ask that you please leave them at home.
