SUMMARY:National Public Lands Day - Middle Fork Trail
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers will hike down Powerline to the Middle Fork junction\, brushing between the junction and the bridge. There will be some structure repair and gravelling in a turnpike. Hiking will be easy to moderate and no more than 2-3 miles for the day. We need volunteers at 6 p.m. Tuesday\, May 13. Meet at Mile 99. If you’re coming from Soldotna\, keep going on the Sterling Hwy past Skyview\, past the Slikok parking lot. At the top of the hill\, you’ll see mile marker 99. There’s a turn-in and gate (it’ll be open). We’ll bring the tools\, you bring the awesome! At this rate\, Slikok STX trails should be open after the work night.
