Skinny tires are probably not going to work. Please reach out to Trek store or Dave or Becky (via messenger) if you have any questions.Trek does offer discounted rental fat tire bikes for the Cheese and Crackers ride. DOGS: While we love dogs\, we ask that you please leave them at home. SUMMARY:Fundraiser for Valley of the Moon Kids Bike Pump Track
DESCRIPTION:Help raise $10\,000 for a new kids’ bike pump track at Valley of the Moon Park. We have already raised $10\,000! \nA bike pump track is a circular/oval shaped track of compacted dirt with rollers. For most kids\, it’s the place they learn to mountain bike. They are extremely popular. The proposed Valley of the Moon track will be similar to the one at Hilltop Ski and Bike <a href="http://Park. \nAnchorage” target=”_blank” title=”Park. \nAnchorage”>Park. \nAnchorage Parks and Recreation Department has installed pump tracks at Chanshtnu Muldoon Park and South Anchorage Sports Park\, and local non-profits have built pump tracks at Mirror Lake and Hilltop Ski Area. The South Addition and North Star Community Councils have endorsed building a pump track at Valley of the Moon\, and it is consistent with the Parks master <a href="http://plan. \nMake” target=”_blank” title=”plan. \nMake”>plan. \nMake a donation here: <a href="https://apf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=3396All” target=”_blank” title=”https://apf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=3396All”>https://apf.fcsuite.com/erp/donate/create/fund?funit_id=3396All contributions will be gratefully accepted and are tax <a href="http://deductible. \nWhen” target=”_blank” title=”deductible. \nWhen”>deductible. \nWhen funds are available\, Anchorage Parks and Recreation will authorize a contractor to build the pump track in summer 2026. Anchorage Park Foundation is the fiscal sponsor for this community project led by Zack Fields and South Addition and Valley of the Moon <a href="http://neighbors. \n” target=”_blank” title=”neighbors. \n“>neighbors.

Please reach out to Trek store or Dave (via messenger) if you have any questions. \nDOGS: While we love dogs\, we ask that you please leave them at home. We ask this out of concern for the safety of your dog and the safety of our participants. \nContact Dave via Messenger if you have any questions about the ride.
