SUMMARY:Moonlit Miles November 7th
DESCRIPTION:Welcome back to another season of Moonlit Miles! We will be starting this year at Mat Lakes State Park and will be meeting in the new lot outside the main gate. Wheels on the ground at 7pm\, so arrive early. Ride time will be approximately an hour and a half and we will be riding primarily on the single track trails that traverse the Greenbelt. This will be a no-drop ride with regular breaks to regroup. Ice could be present on the trails so studded tires are recommended. Charge those lights and we will see you on Friday!

SUMMARY:November Coed Cheese and Crackers Ride
DESCRIPTION:Black Friday Night Lights Coed Cheese and Crackers ride!! After you’ve gorged yourself on Thanksgiving and satisfied all of your shopping desires on Black Friday you’ll need a bike ride to recover. Come join us at the Abbott Loop park off of Elmore for a fat tire ride. We will ride for about an hour followed by cheese and crackers and pumpkin pie around the fire <a href="http://pit.Depending” target=”_blank” title=”pit.Depending”>pit.Depending upon the group size we will likely split into groups based on comfort/effort levels. This ride is for all ability levels\, and is a low-stress and high-fun event!IMPORTANT: We have decided to add a temperature cutoff for our winter rides. We’ve had some subzero rides and they aren’t that much fun. So IF THE FORECAST for the night of the ride is below 5 degree F\, we will cancel the ride and try to reschedule. So check back THE DAY BEFORE the ride.We will give a 24 notice for this. When: Friday\, November 28 at 6:30 pmWhere: Abbott Loop Ballfield Park off Elmore Please arrive by 6:15 pm to sign <a href="http://waivers.What” target=”_blank” title=”waivers.What”>waivers.What to bring: A charged light! A helmet! A bike! Cool bike lights encouraged! BIKES: These rides are for all abilities and we are not bike snobs. But you will have a better time if your bike is well maintained and capable of riding on snow/ice covered trails. So a fat tire bike is highly recommended. Skinny tires are probably not going to work. Please reach out to Trek store or Dave or Becky (via messenger) if you have any questions.Trek does offer discounted rental fat tire bikes for the Cheese and Crackers ride. DOGS: While we love dogs\, we ask that you please leave them at home. We ask this out of concern for the safety of your dog and the safety of our <a href="http://participants.Contact” target=”_blank” title=”participants.Contact”>participants.Contact Dave or Becky via Messenger if you have any questions about the ride.

SUMMARY:First Snow Jam Ride!
DESCRIPTION:It’s that time of the year again –> Snow Jam time!! I’ll re-ignite the series on Wednesday December 3rd. Like last year\, I’ll be doing this Wednesday shindig rain\, snow\, or moon-shine (since the sun is never out). You’re welcome to ditch or join\, but I’ll be out there in the dark pedalin’ every Wednesday (except holidays) up until the last day of Winter (mid march). This series starts at Abbott Park with a mid-break at Finn’s for snacks and drinks . We usually take rover’s run back to Abbott Park (~5 to 6 miles)\, but with the new trails that may fancy.Date/time: Every Wednesday\, 6:25PM (+/- 10 minutes). We would like to be rolling no later than 6:30\, but want to give everyone plenty of buffer time for those getting off late from https://www.strava.com/routes/3329648536319397536Start/End Time: Gather/rollout at 6:30 PM\, wrap up around 8:30 PM (or whenever we run out of excuses to keep riding).🚴‍♀️ General route: Abbott Loop Community Park -> New Service Single Track -> Abbott Multiuse -> Gasline Multiuse -> Endor -> Baseball Boogie -> Abbott Loop Community ParkDistance: Around 6.5 miles✨ Ride vibes: Pace will be chill\, but if you’ve got energy to spare\, bonus miles are always an option. Depending on turnout\, we may split into groups by pace\, experience\, or love of obscure trail charged. If you would like the route via .gpx or another format\, please shoot me a route.
