Anchorage weekly road ride

We’re back at it this week!

Introducing The Anchorage weekly road rides — a no-drop, all-fun, social ride rolling through the Anchorage/Eagle River area every week 🚲. The goal for this ride is to introduce a re-occurring weekly road ride in Anchorage and surrounding area. Something that roadies can rely on every weekend to take place.

No drop means no one gets left behind. Unless you show up on a fat bike. (Just kidding, but try to keep up) We will be riding pace group style, 2-riders side-by-side throughout. Riders will take turns in the front of the pace group (2 to 5 minutes) leading out – if it works out. Sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn’t, but we shoot for it if we can.

🚴‍♂️ Road bikes or gravel bikes recommended for pacing purposes.

Main route: Bartlett parking lot –> Glenn hwy bike path –> VFW drive (** if not under construction**) –> Old Glenn hwy (Eagle River) –> Jitters — return.
