Coach Training
ORCA provides a network for local Youth MTB clubs to share resources and collaborate on new initiatives.
ORCA is coordinating several coach-certification clinics this summer both with the Bicycle Instructor Certification Program (BICP) and the Professional Mountain Bike Instructor Association (PMBIA), and is working with National Interscholastic Cycling Association (NICA) to develop a progressive Alaska-centric Youth MTB curriculum.

Hilltop Mountain Shredders
Get excited for your best summer ever with Hilltop’s Mountain Shredders Mountain Bike summer camp. Our week-long day camps, offer mountain bike specific instruction mixed with summer camp activities including outdoor learning, stewardship, nature hikes, field games and arts & crafts. Drop your campers off in the morning ready to bike, explore, learn, and play. Pick them up in the evening tired but excited for the next day’s camp.

CMBR Kids Youth MTB Club is a parent-led program that introduces basic mountain biking by teaching fundamental bike handling skills, building confidence on singletrack trails, and promoting a healthy lifestyle through mountain biking.

Tsalteshi Sprockets
Tsalteshi Sprockets works to develop lifelong cyclists while building self-confidence, having fun, and playing outdoors. Our goals are for youth to demonstrate improved bike handling and safe trail riding skills while gaining self-confidence. Practice proper trail etiquette and stewardship. Develop a love of physical fitness through the lifelong activity of cycling. Value a connection to nature by exploring outdoors, and to create riding comradery, friendships and fond memories while having FUN!

Sprockidz
SprocKidz is a Valley Mountain Bikers and Hikers summer program that introduces mountain biking to kids ages 8-18. The program teaches fundamental bike handling skills and maintenance while promoting trail stewardship. It also promotes fitness through the pursuit of fun!

Formerly known as AMBA, (the Alaska Mountain Bike Alliance), the Alaska Off-Road Cycling Alliance (ORCA) is a group of advocates from across the state working to strengthen connections between existing mountain bike nonprofits, land managers and communities.
Our 501(c)3 off-road cycling members include Singletrack Advocates, Chugach Mountain Bike Riders, Valley Mountain Bikers and Hikers, as well as Mighty Bikes, SprocKidz, and the Arctic Bicycle Club.
