Wide Wheel Wednesday Briggs Ride
Meet at the Briggs Bridge Alaska State Park Trailhead at 6:45pm for a 7:00pm start.
Route will take us 2.5 miles up Lower Eagle River Trail to the Swan Pond. From there, the goal will be the Narnia Ice Bridge at which point we will determine whether to return the way we came from there
or explore a few other trails tbd by conditions.
NOTE-There are areas of overflow just before the turnaround point reaching depths of 8 to 10 inches so waterproof high top boots, XtraTuf boots, Muck Boots, etc will determine how far you can ride.
(Well-behaved dogs are welcome, but we’ll have to turn around at the Swan Pond due to overflow spots that are tough on puppy paws in the cold)
Feel free to bring a beverage for rehydration around the propane fire at the end !
