The Casual Road Friday ride is for novice and intermediate riders venturing out on their drop bar bikes and learning about riding on the road, and maybe some tips for how to ride (there is more to it than you think!), and ideas for places to go.

It took me a few false starts to find a route I was happy with, and keeping it somewhat new, but I think I managed it–blasted private roads messed with my first two plans. In the end, we will take the Glenn Bike Path out, do a loop around a block near Bradley Lake, then come back through Outer Springer and cut through the neighborhoods in the middle. Given we are going past Palmer Brewing, a pub stop is definitely an option to be discussed en-route!
