January Coed Cheese and Crackers Ride

January 24 @ 1:30 pm - 4:30 pm AKST

Time flies when you are having fun! It is already the 3rd Anniversary of the nearly famous Coed Cheese and Crackers Ride, and to celebrate we are offering you the chance to explore the mysteries of the North Bivy side of Far North Bicentennial Park. In the daytime!!! These trails are not ridden as much but offer fun along with a bit of mystery and lots of trail intersections. We will ride for about an hour followed by cheese and crackers and pumpkin pie around the fire <a href="http://pit.

For those of you who are going to be doing the 50 or 100 km International Fat Viking event over the weekend we’d love to have you join us and put in some kms with the group!

Depending upon the group size we will likely split into groups based on comfort/effort levels. This ride is for all ability levels, and is a low-stress and high-fun event!

IMPORTANT: We have decided to add a temperature cutoff for our winter rides. We’ve had some subzero rides and they aren’t that much fun. So IF THE FORECAST for the night of the ride is below 5 degree F, we will cancel the ride and try to reschedule. So check back THE DAY BEFORE the ride.
We will give a 24 notice for this.

BIKES: These rides are for all abilities and we are not bike snobs. But you will have a better time if your bike is well maintained and capable of riding on snow/ice covered trails. So a fat tire bike is highly recommended. Skinny tires are probably not going to work. Please reach out to Trek store or Dave or Becky (via messenger) if you have any questions.
Trek does offer discounted rental fat tire bikes for the Cheese and Crackers ride.

DOGS: While we love dogs, we ask that you please leave them at home. We ask this out of concern for the safety of your dog and the safety of our <a href="http://participants.
