Whether you’re new to biking or have been riding for years, Smart Cycling is a fun, comprehensive course that will level up your skills. Designed by the League of American Bicyclists (LAB) and taught by certified instructors, this class covers everything you need to know to ride confidently in the city, from rules of the road and essential gear to bike handling skills, basic maintenance, and more.
Course Details:
Classroom Session: Thursday, May 29, 5:00–8:00 PM
On-Bike Session: Saturday, May 31, 10:00 AM–3:00 PM
Location: CRW Engineering Group, 3940 Arctic Blvd, Anchorage, AK 99503
Cost: Free (but registration and signed waiver required!)
What to Expect:
The course is divided into two parts: an indoor classroom session and a hands-on, on-bike session including parking lot skills drills and a group ride on the road. Participants must attend both the classroom and on-bike sessions to complete the course.
