Join us at Beaver Sports for our Winter Explorers Series on all things winter recreation in Alaska. To kick us off, join winter-endurance athletes as they tell their first-hand experiences of completing the world's longest running winter ultra-marathon — ITI 1000. The 1,000 mile race runs from Anchorage to Nome on the historic Iditarod Trail.
The race will be the true winter triathlon format of run/bike/ski. The run will utilize the scenic Coastal Trail from the Kincaid Chalet for a 6k out and back course. The bike will take advantage of the multi-use trails along Raspberry and the STA singletrack trails throughout Kincaid for a course of around 8 miles.
